That speed feels natural.

But it’s usually where things go off.

A quick reply, a sharp tone, something you didn’t fully think through. Not because you meant it, but because you didn’t pause.

I’ve noticed how different things feel when there’s even a short gap. Not a long delay. Just enough space to see what’s actually happening.

Sometimes nothing needs to be said right away.
