A lot of people spend most of the day somewhere else mentally.

Replaying something from earlier.

Jumping ahead to what’s next.

Carrying conversations that haven’t even happened yet.

Meanwhile, the actual moment in front of them barely gets their attention.

I’ve noticed how easy it is to drift like that, especially during stressful or busy days. The mind keeps trying to move ahead before the body even catches up.

But usually, things become clearer when you come back to what’s actually in front of you. Not tomorrow. Not later tonight. Just this part.
