Good day, Stoics.
New month.
For May, we’re keeping this simple. We’re calling it The Daily Anchor.
Each day, just one idea. Something to come back to. Not a task, not a challenge. Just something to hold onto as the day moves.
Take it however you want. Let it sit with you, or push back on it. Share your thoughts, your experiences, or anything you’ve come across that connects. Books, conversations, videos, whatever’s been shaping your thinking.
This isn’t about being told what to do. It’s about seeing things clearly and talking through them together.

And what better what to start things off?
Control what you can.
It’s one of those things you hear so often that it almost fades into the background. But it shows up everywhere. A plan shifts. Someone acts in a way you didn’t expect. Something takes longer than it should. It’s easy to get pulled into all of it.
I’ve noticed how quickly that pull happens. You’re fine one moment, then something small grabs your attention, and suddenly you’re carrying it around.
Most of it isn’t yours to carry.
What is yours is smaller. Your response. Your next move. How you handle what’s in front of you.
That’s enough.
Stay steady.
