Most of it falls apart once you act.
Yesterday’s challenge was to do the thing you’ve been avoiding.
Some of you stepped into it. Some of you felt that resistance show up immediately.
That’s where this gets interesting.
Because before you act, there’s usually a story running in the background.
“It’s going to take too long.”
“It’s not the right time.”
“I’m not ready yet.”
It sounds reasonable in the moment. That’s why it works. But once you actually start, most of that falls apart. The task wasn’t as bad as you made it out to be. Or it was hard, but not in the way you expected. Or it just needed to be done, and that was it. The story is what keeps it alive.
So today isn’t about the task anymore. It’s about catching that story for what it is.
Now let’s hear it.
For those of you who took action yesterday, and for those of you who felt that resistance and didn’t, this is where you reflect.
What story were you telling yourself before doing it?
What were you saying in your own head?
Did it hold up once you started?
And where else is that same story showing up?
Drop your reflection and let’s break it down.
Stay steady.
