Clarity starts here.
There’s usually one thing you avoid naming.
Not because you don’t see it.
But because once you name it, you can’t pretend it isn’t there.
It might be a habit you keep excusing.
A pattern you’ve normalized.
A truth that feels inconvenient to acknowledge.
Avoiding it doesn’t make it go away.
It just keeps it vague.
STOIC LINE OF THE DAY
“If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your estimate of it.”– Marcus Aurelius
Clarity changes the estimate.
STOIC PLAYBOOK
Stoic practice doesn’t demand immediate change.
It starts with clarity.
What you refuse to name stays diffuse.
What you name becomes specific.
And once something is specific, it loses some of its power over you.
You don’t have to fix it today.
You don’t have to confront it publicly.
Just name it honestly, at least to yourself.
That alone is often enough to loosen its grip.
